Feel at home at St Osyth Priory
St Osyth Priory offers an extensive choice of wedding accommodation within the estate, allowing wedding guests to arrive at their leisure and relax with friends and family both before and after the main celebration of your wedding day. Brides and grooms can stay in the luxurious privacy of the Gatehouse, while the bridal party can choose from Darcy House West Wing or the South Lodge which are both located within The Precinct.
For weddings from 2025 onwards, guests can benefit from The Gatehouse renovations within the estate which prioritises bookings for wedding parties, while there is wide range of choice holiday apartments available in the self-catering Country Retreats accommodation, giving guests the maximum flexibility. However far you might have to travel to St Osyth Priory, you can choose to make a holiday out of your visit.
For our brides and grooms
The Gatehouse Tower, perhaps the most iconic and best-known building on the St Osyth Priory estate, will be lovingly restored to become the most luxurious changing room and suite. This principal suite willl be located at the south end of The Precinct and overlooks the estate with incredible views, allowing you to enjoy complete seclusion and privacy for the night of your wedding without leaving the estate.
As part of the hotel’s portfolio of luxurious suites, The Gatehouse Tower will be designed to wow our most special of guests. Sumptuous styling throughout the suite is inspired by the estate’s centuries of history and connections to royalty, meaning you can truly feel a sense of regal splendour on this most special of occasions.
Make the most of the celebration
With each wedding party enjoying exclusive use of St Osyth Priory, guests can really make the estate a home from home as they celebrate their wedding. Adjacent to the principal function suite of Darcy House, Darcy House West Wing is a three-bedroom house including a dining room, drawing room and kitchen. Neighbouring Darcy House is South Lodge, a two-bedroom house complete with an open-plan living and dining space.
Both locations offer flexible accommodation for wedding guests and our personal wedding coordinator can help you plan the best use of these spaces. Well appointed for self-catering, you can relax with loved ones as you wish or partake in a delicious hamper or fine dining package provided by the St Osyth Priory In House Catering team. Also within the estate, guests can select from the Country Retreats portfolio of holiday accommodation, allowing guests to unwind before or after your wedding day.
