Spend a summer morning exploring the historic Walled Garden at St Osyth Priory, as we open the gates for a chance to discover the garden at its seasonal best.

Take a leisurely stroll through the garden and admire the summer planting, from fragrant herbs and flourishing vegetables to fruits and seasonal flowers. Discover the garden’s latest bounty and enjoy the opportunity to sample its produce, with a selection of seasonal favourites available to purchase and take home.

Visit the Potting Shed to browse estate produce and garden-inspired finds, then settle in at the café for a refreshing drink, a freshly brewed coffee or something delicious from our selection of seasonal treats.

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet some of our friendly estate animals, including our alpacas, pygmy goats and chickens, adding a little extra magic to your visit.

Whether you’re a keen gardener, a local produce enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxed morning outdoors, the Walled Garden offers a lovely opportunity to slow down and enjoy the summer season.

Please use our entrance off Colchester Road, near the museum. Please note that parking is limited.
