Celebrate the arrival of spring with a family-friendly Easter event in the historic Walled Garden at St Osyth Priory.

As the seasons change, we’re opening the gates once again and inviting you to explore this beautiful garden, discover how it’s growing and enjoy a morning filled with seasonal treats, Easter activities and friendly animal encounters.

Little ones can join in the Easter spirit with an Easter egg hunt around the garden, with every guest ticket including an Easter egg from St Osyth Priory.

Take a leisurely stroll through the garden and discover its collection of herbs, fruits, vegetables and seasonal flowers as the garden awakens for spring. You’ll also have the chance to meet some of the estate’s friendly animals, including our alpacas, pygmy goats and chickens, with special treats available to feed them.

Step inside the Potting Shed to browse a selection of estate produce, or stop by the café for a delicious selection of Easter treats. From homemade sausage rolls and freshly baked pastries to Easter cakes and warming hot chocolates, there’s plenty to enjoy along the way.

Whether you’re visiting for the Easter egg hunt, a taste of the season or simply a chance to enjoy the garden together, we look forward to welcoming you for a lovely spring morning at St Osyth Priory.

How to find us and parking

Please use our entrance off Colchester Road, near the museum. Please note that parking is limited.
